Planet Roo is a dedicated area at Bonnaroo 2025 that serves as the festival's hub for sustainability, art, and education, offering a space where attendees can engage in meaningful activities while enjoying the event. Located within the Centeroo area, Planet Roo is designed to inspire and educate, featuring a variety of workshops, performances, and interactive experiences that align with Bonnaroo's values of community, creativity, and positive impact. It’s a place where festival-goers can take a break from the music to learn, connect, and contribute to causes that matter.

One of the standout features of Planet Roo is The Academy, a hay bale building that hosts intimate workshops on topics like visual art, songwriting, upcycling, fermenting, instrument building, and gardening. The Learning Garden is another highlight, providing hands-on training from farmers and volunteers on how to grow your own food, fostering a deeper connection to sustainable practices. These educational offerings are complemented by the HOW Stage, the festival's only solar-powered stage, which hosts performances, panel discussions, yoga, dance, and meditation classes focused on making a positive impact.

Planet Roo also features the Roo Works HQ, where attendees can bid on exclusive autographed items and artwork in the Bonnaroo Works Fund Silent Auction, with proceeds supporting local nonprofits. The Roo Works Café offers a cozy spot to enjoy coffee while listening to talent from Nashville nonprofits like Pitch Music and Musicians on Call. Additionally, Planet Roo partners with organizations to create a vibrant space that encourages attendees to spread positivity beyond the festival, making it a cornerstone of Bonnaroo's commitment to social good.
